Offshore Wind Farm Project Development

We have been assisting Taiwanese Government with de-risking the development of offshore wind farms. We developed Guidelines that walk developers and regulators through the key steps needed to facilitate offshore wind development in an efficient, cost effective and environmentally responsible manner. They provide a road map for development, identify key development tasks and provide a commentary, drawing on European and Asian experience.

Reliability, Maintainability and Survivability of Marine Energy Devices. BMT produced a guide for assessing and achieving the required levels of reliability, maintainability and survivability of marine energy devices. Clients: European Marine energy Centre and the BSI
Tidal Stream Device Foundations. BMT undertook a review of the options for the foundations and moorings for tidal stream devices. Clients: The Carbon Trust
